   Hi there,

   I am in the process of updating my exgirlfriends nephew's motocross site - His mum asked if i could install a news page, so naturally wordpress came to mind - The problem i am facing is that they want a vertical news ticker on the front page (or somthing similar), the loop seems to be the way forward, however, i just cant seem to get my head round it?

   His domain name is http://www.joshcraigmotox.com/ - i am looking to add this to the right hand side of the page, you will see what i mean if you visit his site.

   I would be very grateful if someone could maybe give me a massive push in the right direction, maybe its justa simple but of code, but i just cant seem to grasp it???

   I am not sure how do you think it but you may check out this:
   http://www.onlinetools.org/tools/domnews/
   It can be used anywhere (I use it in my wordpress blog).

   There is a demo.html in the zip. View the source.
   The main points:

   Put in the header:

   <script type="text/javascript" src="domnews.js"></script>

   Next:
   <div id="news">Your content, whatever</div>

   For example the wordpress post content:

   <div id="news">
<div class="storycontent">
<ul>
<?php the_content(__('(more...)')); ?>
</ul>
</div>
</div>

   In this case, inlude the style from domnews.css into your wp stylesheet.
