    Hello all,

    Hoping someone can help me.

I set up and worked on a website on my servers. After it was completed and accepted by the person I did it for, I installed WordPress on their server and restored the DB that had all the work done.

The site is up and running. The major problem is that some of the content is still linking to my server where the demo was set up! Can someone please help me configure the right files to point to the right server?

The site should be at: http://www.a1ascuba.com
If you visit the site, you'll see most of it is pointing to my demo install on my servers at: http://www.extrememhz.com/laura

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

Oh, and one other trick I use, since you're going to be handling the SQL file anyway, run a spell check on it. Most good HTML/text editors have one; EditPlus does. :)

Thank you for the replies. However, I'm not too familiar with the SQL syntax.

Can you give me an example to replace the old URL with the NEW?

For example, all pages created seem to be liked to the old site at "http://www.extrememhz.com/laura". I need them, along with all other links to read "http://www.a1ascuba.com".

Also, I can't even log in, as it is pointing to old demo as well.

  4. Examples are at the link above. You need to use phpmyadmin at the new domain, not WordPress at the old domain.
