    That sounds like a corrupted file.
    I’d upload a fresh copy of the file… or of the whole wp-includes folder.

    Sounds like the file didn’t make it intact. Try re-uploading.

    reopload it if u havent changed the script, it’s impossible to get that eerror if your file was completely uploaded.

    Okay, resolved!

    I’m a MS Frontpage user, which means I’m used to importing files/folders into the app before I can upload it.

    I guess Frontpage did something ‘funny’ to some of those files in my ‘wordpress’ folder, because a straight FTP re-upload (outside of Frontpage) of the original files resolved the parse error.

    (for future reference) Never use FP for WP files!
