    Hello,
    First time user, installing v2.0.4...

    Here's my URL:
    http://www.spanish101.org/blog/wp-admin/install.php

    I'm getting this message:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '}' in /home/content/e/d/w/edwardspek/html/blog/wp-includes/functions-formatting.php on line 90

    Help, anyone?

That sounds like a corrupted file.
I'd upload a fresh copy of the file... or of the whole wp-includes folder.

Sounds like the file didn't make it intact. Try re-uploading.

reopload it if u havent changed the script, it's impossible to get that eerror if your file was completely uploaded.

    Okay, resolved!

I'm a MS Frontpage user, which means I'm used to importing files/folders into the app before I can upload it.

I guess Frontpage did something 'funny' to some of those files in my 'wordpress' folder, because a straight FTP re-upload (outside of Frontpage) of the original files resolved the parse error.

Thanks for your prompt support moshu, Yosemite and J2daB.

    WordPress is great.

(for future reference) Never use FP for WP files!
