    Hi,

    I am trying to change site width. The whole site is enclosed in #site-wrap div, but no matter how i try to modify the width of this div - nothing works. I can easily change the content area #content width with width: 600px; but it does not work for #site-wrap. Could someone please explain what am i doing wrong?

    I'm using SmallBiz theme
    No link, since i'm working on wamp.

    If you could perhaps provide a link to your site it would make advising a little easier. Without a link though my guess is that the #site-wrap has some width fixed or something around it is fixed. I'd need to see it in 'action' so to speak to confirm this though.

    Hi,
    thanks for replying. Unfortunately i can't provide a link - i'm working on super-slow internet connection and am currently using WAMP local server. Either way i sorta did a workaround on this. Using firebug i found where my theme overrides the settings and went in to wordpress pages tab, HTML mode (since i have only 2 pages) and warped each page's content in

    <div style="width: 584px !important;">
    <page content>
    </div>

    and that did the trick.

    Thanks again for your willingness to help!

    No worries, glad it's at least sorted for you. If you do get further issues I'd suggest using something like: https://gist.github.com/ and adding into that the relevant files.

    I've heard of it, but never thought of to use it. Thanks for the tip!
