I was installing WP-cache. It said i had to input a line in wp-confi.php
I did it at the end (but forgot to save a copy first)
after that I got this message
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '>' in /home/andrethi/public_html/wp-config.php on line 77
I came back and deleted the line. But it's stll out.
What do I have to do to have it back?
thanx
Go into the wp-config.php file, in the area around where you added the line, and look for a '>' character. There aren't supposed to be any in that part of the file, so just delete it. If you don't see it there, look towards the bottom of the file. line 77 should be near the end.

THIS IS THE FIX
Download a clean file. DO NOT USE A MICROSOFT PRODUCT TO EDIT IT.
USE METAPAD to edit the file and it will work fine
