    I am working with a TwentyTen Child theme.

    My website is http://www.lettuceknit.com/wordpress

    I have added a search bar into the menu bar below the header image as per the following tutorial:

    http://www.throwingabrick.com/wordpress/add-search-box-wordpress-3-0-nav-menu.html

    However, following the instructions does not seem to place the search bar on the right side like the tutorial describes.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Your CSS syntax is wrong.

    Change this:

    #site-generator a:hover {
    	text-decoration: none;

    /* =Search Bar --------------------------------------------*/

    .search-form {
    margin:10px 10px 10px 0;
    width: 150px;
    float: right;
    font-style: italic;
    }
    }

    To this:

    #site-generator a:hover {
    	text-decoration: none;
    }
    /* =Search Bar --------------------------------------------*/

    .search-form {
    margin:10px 10px 10px 0;
    width: 150px;
    float: right;
    font-style: italic;
    }

    I'm not sure what you mean by my widget area being on the left side.

    Can you help me fix it?
