Please help log in then domain problem

Hi there I am really hoping someone can help me figure this out:

at first i was having a log in issue
i kept not being able to log in. i fixed it a few times with an emergency php and in the database but it just kept happening.
so i looked up wordpress log in issues and i added this to the login.php

//FIXME: do comment/remove these hack lines. (once the database is updated)
update_option('siteurl', 'http://your.domain.name/the/path' );
update_option('home', 'http://your.domain.name/the/path' );

stupid idea i obviously didnt do it right i just put it in as is. so i took it out. put the log in php back. optimized all the database tables still i get this.
