   I just updated my WordPress on my site.

   However, now when I click on the new 'Upload/Insert' button, the screen turns dark but nothing else happens!

   How do I fix this as I have to be able to upload pics and other media!

   Any ideas?

   Have you tried:

   - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

   - re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

   Try reading the page at the link I gave above for the plugin reset. You will need to re-upload the wp-admin and wp-includes folders using FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides).
