   Hello,

   I create a new blog, successfully. But when I click to see it - I get a broken link error - essentially the file(new blog) has not been created.

   Its creating it as a subdomain in the URL. I know I had the option to specify that in the setup.

   did you set up your subdomain correctly? looks like the subdomain doesn't exist

   Im under the assumption that when I create the Blog, the subdomain gets created automatically.

   Do I need to go in and manually create the subDomain.

   yes you do. you need to log into your host control panel and create the subdomain, then install WP in that directory.
