   Please help, I tried many contact forms plugins and non of them works! The contact form page is displayed perfectly with all plugins but when email is sent I don't receive it and confirmation page is not there. The page like restarts itself without sending any e-mail.
   I receive emails from comments, etc... but not from contact page.
   Again, I tried many plugins and each one of them acts in the same way.
   There is something wrong with WP not plugins.
   What should I do to make it work?

   Probably your server's php mail() function does not work. I had a similar problem once (http://wordpress.designpraxis.at/2007/08/30/my-scrambled-wordpress-blog/#more-153 point 3). Does you "lost Password" request send you an email with a new password?

   If not, you will need a contact form that uses the class phpmailer, which can talk smtp. And contact you webservers administrator for checking whats up with php mail()...

   i have just been through this exercise, so am very sympathetic. Here is one that i found that works as advertised (advice above seems smart too). my blog is hosted at Dreamhost, running on WP version 2.2

   Shodowdad, I tried contact form III but it gives the same result, it just restarts itself and that is it - no email being sent and no confirmation messages!

   Wpdprx,I tried to request my password and it sent, so I receive emails from WP but not from any contact form!!

   What should I do next???
