   Hello,

   I am new to this and TOTALLY overwhelmed. I have been through *pages* of information, much of it code, which I do not know the first thing about, and can not figure this out on my own.

   The problem is that comments (which I approved on my dashboard) are not appearing at the ends of the related posts. There is a little "leave a comment" tab showing at the upper right of each post, and I do not want that there either.

   I put a "recent comment" plug-in on the sidebar which is also strange. You can see a snipet of the comment, but when you try clicking on it you can not see the whole thing.

   I would like people to be able to post at the end of each of my posts, and for their comments to show up there like every other blog I have ever been on.

   I don't know why I am having so much trouble understanding everything.

   If anyone could explain this in layman's terms I would be forever grateful! My site is http://www.IdeaLyss.com.

   the comments show fine below the individual (single) post;

   for performance and other various reasons, showing comments on the front page is suppressed by default in wordpress (even if the front page template might have the 'comments_template()' code in the loop)

   Thank you....I think it is working, I just expected to see comments automatically appear under each post. It seems they are hidden in the sidebar, and if you click on the date (instead of the text) it will take you to them. Sometimes, when getting to a post from a different way, (ie. through archives, categories, link to article) it appears differently. For example, if I go through archives you can not see my facebook share or like buttons at the bottom of each post. I don't know what to do about that. They are there from the home page after each post, just not through archives or categories. :( Sigh. Sorry I am so green!!
