I'm not sure what you mean by that? I am trying to create a wordpress blog for people who have no idea where to begin on survival and setup a shopping cart for it.

I've read that CO.CC gives out free domains, but I don't know how to set this up, or if this is what I need to do. Any help is appreciated

You can register your free .co.c domain at http://www.co.cc/

After that, read the instructions provided by http://www.co.cc/ and point the name servers of your domain to your hosting provider.

Once you did it, you can access your FTP account using any FTP client like FileZilla and upload all your wordpress files to your hosting account. I am not sure that what exactly to do with the shopping cart in wordpress. But you can install the wordpress on your domain and you can install shopping cart to your subdomain and then you can set the hyperlink on your wordpress site for your subdomain.
