Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (5 posts)

    When i go to my website (reallifeaspects.co.cc) to install wordPress 2.5.1 i type in reallifeaspects.co.cc/wp-admin/install.php , and this page http://phpnet.us/blog8/index.php comes up instead of the installation page where you are suposed to fill out your email and all that stuff, ive followed all the directions and looked through quite a few threads but didnt find anything on this really, my server is byethost if that helps and i have mysql version 5.0.51 and PHP version 5.2.6 if that helps, i am a beginner so im not to familiar with this, it would be greatly appricatied if someone could please help me thanks! =]

    Where did you get your WordPress from?
    Download the authentic WP here: http://wordpress.org/download/

    i just did that and deleted all the old wordpress files from version 2.5.1 and uploaded 2.6 files to my server and went though the entire installation again, but yet it still goes to that same page?? is it something with the wp-configuration file that i did wrong? or is it my server? any suggestions?

    There doesn't seem to be a wp-config.php file. I need this before we can get started. Need more help? We got it. You can create a wp-config.php file through a web interface, but this doesn't work for all server setups. The safest way is to manually create the file.
