This is the second time in 6 months that this plugin completely fails.

Majority of users will not see this before they get suspicious about non-moving statistics, and then check settings with a subsequent save in WP admin.

This will result in "Google Analytics Vists Alert: please check/recheck/enter your Google Analytics Profile ID." in WP admin as well as in published site.

The previous solution to this is no longer working (https://code.google.com/p/gapi-google-analytics-php-interface/issues/detail?can=2&start=0&num=100&q=&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Priority%20Milestone%20Owner%20Summary&groupby=&sort=&id=79)

It appears to be a solution to this bad implentation in GAPI:

Peblamb needs to address this in a new hotfix/release in the very near future, as this plugin is now dead for all users.
