Can someone please change my username to joshua.paling or joshua.p or some other variant? Anything but my email!

you should be able to do this yourself by clicking the 'Member' link below your display name; then clck 'edit' on the right below 'profile' ...
if this does not work, please post again with a definitive choice of new display name.
You can change your displayed name on these forums by going into your profile page and editing it to use the display name of your choice. However, we can't change the account's login username.

OK thanks. I had to enter first and last name in order for other display names to show in the drop down list. Done.
