[resolved] Please allow us to disable 'view full size' in carousel (6 posts)

    I run a site devoted to my photography and have tried to prevent casual image theft by disabling highlighting, dragging and right clicking on my site. However, carousel undermines all of that by allowing someone to click the 'view full size image' in carousel and then easily right click the full size image and save it.

    I have found hacks to remove this code but that also removes the valuable exif data. Please allow us to hide the view full size link with a simple toggle.

    Thanks

    You could hide that link by adding the following CSS code to your theme's stylesheet, or to your custom CSS editor under Appearance > Edit CSS in your dashboard:

    .jp-carousel-wrap a.jp-carousel-image-download {
    display:none;
    }

    Thank you Jeremy

    I had previously tried that (and did so again with the latest version of Jetpack) but it doesn't work

    The only thing that did work was the fix at the bottom of this post:

    My bad, I replied too quickly. Sorry about that. The code I gave you earlier would only work with the light version of the Carousel.

    Try adding the following code to your theme's stylesheet:

    .jp-carousel-wrap a.jp-carousel-image-download {
    display:none;
    }
