   Hello! I was messing around with permissions and I've managed to muddle things up so that the widgets and dynamic content, such as Twitter feed, will not show on the homepage, but will show on every other page. Here's what I landed on with permissions.

   The whole public_html folder: 750
   index.php in my root (public_html): 644
   .htaccess (in the root): 766

   Try resetting the .htaccess file back to 644.

   Ok, tried your suggestion and it looks like that wasn't the problem. But I was able to find an error message that tied it back to a plugin that I installed before changing the permissions.
