Team Rosters
[resolved] Player pages (10 posts)

Since the last update, I made a couple of changes in the settings section in the site (saved them) and the player pages don't appear anymore. The players are on the team roster page but the links have disappeared.

Any help please? I'm not sure if settings are being overwritten somewhere.

    Hi Phailanx,
Please check your display settings. Make sure the Add links to player pages: is set to Add links. That's for links from the roster table. And that the Add links to player bios: setting is set to Add gallery links

    Let me know.

    Hi Mark,

Both are selected as mentioned above:

    Add links set
    Add gallery links set

Do you know what else could cause this?

    Thanks,
    Azlan

    Hi Azian,
Several things could cause it. Did you try resetting your permalinks?

Please send me a link to the page that is not working. That will help. You can send it to me directly (mark@shoalsummitsolutions.com) if you don't want to share it on the forum.

    Thanks.

    Hi Guys,
Based on the link Azlan sent me, I don't think it's a permalink problem for him. skizzopazo, can you send me a link to the problem page(s)? You can send it to mark@shoalsummitsolutions.com if you don't want to post it here.

Also, did either of you make changes to the taxonomy-teams.php template you're using to accommodate your theme? I believe the relevant setting name may have changed (for reasons I forget) and that would certainly do it.

Let me know. It works here, but I could have had a configuration control problem with the WP distribution.

I haven't updated the taxonomy-teams.php file but in the editor it does seem different to the plugin version. Perhaps it is theme specific?

The addlinks function seems correct but are there any other elements that trigger that setting?

    Kind regards,
    Azlan

Having seen no activity in over a month, I am marking this resolved. If you have other questions, please open a new thread.
    Thanks.
