   Hi all,

   I'm a newb when it comes to wordpress. I am looking to play wmv vids i have uploaded in the post. I can upload them, but whenever i go into any plugin and put the link in it always says that the player cannot locate the file.

   Am i doing something wrong?

   Also when i just link to the file all that happens is the page opens with no video or download for my users.

   Please help

   I found a plugin that may be suitable for you:

   Viper's Video Quicktags

   Just simply click one of the new buttons that this plugin adds to the write screen (rich editor included) and then paste the URL that the video is located at into the prompt box -- easy as that. You can fully configure how the videos are displayed (width, height, colors, alignment on the page) and much more.

   ...

   As well as these file types:

   * Flash Video Files (FLV)
   * QuickTime (MOV, etc.)
   * Generic video files (AVI, MPEG, WMV, etc.)
