Hi -- I have a client who wants a song to play continuously across all site pages.
I realize this is not best practice, it's irritating, etc. -- but the client wants it, and I have argued as much as I'm going to.
Is there any way to do this without putting the whole site in an iframe and losing all the SEO goodness that WordPress is for?
Any help infinitely appreciated.

I feel your pain.
And in case you feel like giving it one more go with your client, sometimes I find that it helps to showing them documentation to back up your claim that something is not good for usability:

Another reason: depending upon what country you are in, it might even breach disability laws. Audio/music makes it virtually impossible for screen reader users to hear their own software's output - thus rendering the site impossible to use and making the site owner guilty of discrimination.
