[resolved] plans for enabling localization (8 posts)

    Hi,

Neat plugin. Several projects I've been working on come to mind where this could be useful (instead of tweaking the regular WordPress user db).

Enabling localization for http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-staff-list/ would be a great added feature from my point of view. Any plans for this?

    Thanks
    Rune

    Hey Rune,
I'm glad you like the plugin! Actually, a few weeks ago someone added localization to the plugin on github and I merged their code into the master. I've not yet released this version to the WordPress repo but you can feel free to download it from github.

    Hi Brett,

Cool - I'll grab the plugin from github. I'll be sure to share my language files.

mh.. I downloaded the new plugin and created my own (German) .pot / .mo file and placed them into the _lang folder. Nothing happens. Is there anything else that I have to do?

    Hi

I also translated the plugin, into Dutch (nl_NL). But I'm running in to the same problems: the plugin is not translated.

I've noticed that the github version had a different name on the server, but changing that to the wordpress.org version was not a solution. Also copying _lang from github towards the wordpress.org version did not solve this issue.

A pity, because i'd really would love to use this great plugin in Dutch. I hope there will be a solution soon.

Any update on this Brett? After seeing the responses in this thread I guess it isn't really working properly.

Loving this plugin, but missing the option to add a localization. :(

Hope you got a fix/alternate version for us!
