    Hi there

I've searched the forums, I've googled, and I'm still stuck so here we go:

I can't upload images via the interface. I am told to check permissions, and I've changed my uploads folder to 777. Same message. I tried manually uploading images via my ftp client and that works. I used absolute paths to these images and they DO show. Problem is they will not size properly (they're too small), even when i specify height and width. They also always align left no matter what alignment I put.

I'm a designer and not an integrator/programmer so I'm struggling! Any info would be greatly appreciated :)

    1. Usually, you have to change the permissions on the "parent" directory (as the error message is asking) and that is the wp-content folder.
    2. If you upload via ftp - there shouldn't be "thumbnail" size pictures (it is created only when you upload via the WP interface), so I don't really understand whatis changing the image size...
    3. What theme are you using?
