Hi, I'd like to place a text and/or an image inside the sidebar, which should then always appear at the bottom of the sidebar, independently of how long the sidebar is in each window. How can I achieve this?

look at the sidebar-div and place the image-code right before the closing-div -

What you say is what I did. But this way the image appears below the other content of the sidebar... but not at the bottom, near the footer...

You want it on the right side of the footer?
place it in the footer

he/she doesnt want it in the footer, thats not what he/she said. they want it at the bottom of the sidebar, " ...near the footer"

The image "treibkraft.eu" should appear @ the bottom of the sidebar as you said.

oke, well before I can putz around with it you need to assign it a class .. edit the code youve used to insert into your sidebar so that youve tacked on something like :
img src="blahblah/blah/drivenby.gif" class="bottomsidebar" ...I dont care what you call the class but its gonna need to have one.

i also need to put my w3 counter in the bottom of the left sidebar...so any ideas?!(check my web http://enblogopedia.com/)
i think i can put it in the footer and then move left and up a little so it looks like it`s in the left sidebar and whatever the page get longer it will remain there!
what do u think?!
