How do I place code (required when subscribing to Feedburner)into my blog's Source Code file. It is for the "Tiga" theme. I was told that in order to "modify" the Source code file I would need to have knowledge of php script programming language because WordPress and the "Tiga" theme are using php language.
1. Please, try to keep the same question in ONE single thread:

2. Tell Feedburner they are wrong: you should add the code in the template files: those are the files in the folder of the theme that is active on your blog.

Thank you. Sorry to be so stupid, what do I type in? to get to the template files.I did this: http://www.dorismollerhairstyling.com/blog/wp-content/themes/tiga/ but I get a blank page.
No, you cannot do that!
You have two options:
a) edit the theme files online - logging in to your admin panel > Presentation > Theme Editor... but I never recommend that
b) editing the theme file(s) on your computer in a plain text editor and uploading the modified file(s). Always make a backup copy before modifying any file!

Thank you very much. One last question. How do I put the themes file into a text editor? (Notepad or Word?) And how do I make a backup copy.
Word is a monster - do not use it ;)
[MS Word is NOT a plain text editor - it is a word processor]
Notepad is fine. Just start it, then Open... and navigate until you find the file to edit.

I've detailed instructions on how to edit your theme header here:
