   Do you have a section of the dashboard named, "Custom CSS", "Custom Styles" or "Jetpack", or are you using a Child Theme?

   In Custom CSS, enter this;
   

   .home #featured-image {
    float: none;
   }
   
   .home #featured .col-460:first-child {
    display: none;
   }

   Is that what you want?

   I have absolutely same issue with the featured image on portrait oriented iPad

   Following your advice I tried to fix it this way:
   1. Downloaded and installed Responsive Child Theme from here: http://themeid.com/docs/child-theme-example/
   2. Copied/pasted the customization you suggested into the "Custom CSS styles" field of the Appearance-Theme Options.

   The result was bad: Completely disappeared Headline, Sub-headline, Text from Content Area and Call to action button. The featured image stucked to the left border of the content area.

   Could you or anybody else give me an idea how to resolve the issue?
