   I would like to have a text widget at the bottom of the sidebar without using a bunch of empty widgets to force it down.

   Is this possible?

   Maybe use some HTML code, inserting line breaks, <p> </p>, into that text widget, then entering whatever you plan to.

   As it turned out I have enough information in the sidebar that I don't have to worry about forcing copy to the bottom.
