[resolved] Place Order Button is missing (5 posts)

    I don't know if I am asking this in the correct place, but Please help, I am new to a Commerce Website and trying to set it up, and I cannot find the Place Order button on the cart page or the address checkout page, or anywhere actually.

    I try to buy some soaps to test the site, I add the soaps to the cart, press checkout, then fill in the shipping info and tick for same as billing info but it does not copy over so I type it in again into the mandatory fields but still cannot make the place order button appear.

    Thanks for any assistance

    Hi, At the bottom of the checkout page it says "Your order". Underneath this there should be an order review table, a list of payment methods and the site footer, but these elements are missing. The page software is not running to completion. For example, this is what you should be seeing.

    So I think you need to double check that the product pages are setup and completed correctly and that you have at least one payment gateway defined. Some error in these elements is causing the order review table to fail and end the page too early.

    Ultimately your theme may not be completely compatible with WooCommerce and you may need to change it.

    Ok thanks, i changed the theme and it started to work, but when I say pay cash on delivery and pressed submit order I get a clouded out sheet that just stays there??

    What is supposted to happen?

    I would think a confirmation page would come up saying we will be intouch to arrange pick-up or even deliver or something

    When I click the paypal option I get a page saying

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@paypal.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Hi,
    Cash on delivery: Yes I see the clouded out sheet and instead there should be an order confirmation page. I think it means that something has not been setup properly and you need to double check all the settings. For instance, have you set up a cash on delivery shipping method and linked it to the product on the product input page.
    PayPal: Check you have been to PayPal and setup your PayPal account for eCommerce receiving payments and got an identity token from them. Put this into WooCommerce / Settings / Checkout / PayPal. There's a few queries on this forum about PayPal.
    Might be best to start two new threads about these issues.

    Ok thanks I have fixed the paypal but still the Cash on Pick up clouds over and does not to to the order confirmation page.

    I will make a new thread somewhere
