    Hi,
Im having problems putting a background image on my site. Not only that but any theme i install brings the same problem.
Im a complete amateur so this is my first site. However, iv tried enlarging the pic, changing file type, chosen an image with a higher resolution, tried using a photo, im at a loss!
Any image i try to use for the background, or even just a colour, looks pixelated, like hundreds of little squares.
I use a netbook but iv checked on a normal laptop, pc, and on my dads internet on the tv, same issue!

Can anyone help me please? Thank you!

Can you demonstrate your issue by linking the site?

I don't see a pixelated background, but I do see a dotted-image that is overlaying it. Is that what you're referring to, that dotted image that is repeated?

the dotted image, if you are referring to the box with txt, is supposed to be like that as part of the theme. the link will not open except to a blank page

This image? You really should make it easier on us volunteers, we only have a limited amount of free time to spend here.

Sorry. A friend suggested i install the plug-in lightbox which has allowed me to set the maximum size for larger images. This has cleared up the issue. But thank you for your help
