• Hi,

I’ve just switched to WordPress 3.0 and was hoping if there’s a decent media plugin that has a couple of features from Piwigo that I need (I’d rather not integrate Piwigo unless someone has already done it in a non-sucky way)
I’m keen on something that :
    a) works with the default media library – so I can use any of the existing plugins for displaying images.
    b) Just syncs with a seperate folder on my web server (like Piwigo) – I don’t want to duplicate and moves images all over the server just so WP can see them.
    c) Allows virtual folders/collections/galleries/whatever you call them, (like Piwigo) – just because I have a folder called Good, and another called Great doesn’t mean I shouldn’t have a gallery called Awesome with 1 photo from eachm without creating more folders and copying files around.

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

  • Hi.

There’s a new plugin for WordPress called PiwigoMedia that allows you to insert images, from a Piwigo website, into WordPress posts.

You can get the details here or here

    Cheers
