Well… I guess I was wondering why when I use the “pin it” link from pinterest it will recognize images, but when I use the plugin it does not. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

    Ok.
In fact, the pinterest button is the only one that use JS, because it’s a copy of the Pinterest Bookmarklet : http://about.pinterest.com/goodies/#browser

Please, try with this bookmarklet on the same page of your site, and tell me if it works.

    Thank you.

    Hello Geoff,

I tried with the bookmarklet and yes it did work. But the plugin still will not.

Hope this makes sense. Thanks for your help with this matter

It’s maybe an update of Pinterest code, I’ll compare it quickly and will include this fix to the next update.
    Thank you 😉

Awesome. Thanks. When do you expect the next update?

I am having the same problem. Pinterest button is not recognizing pinnable images, and it fails to pin the article. Any idea when the next update is going to be?

    Hi,
Pinterest proposes a new API to share content.
I’m testing it and try to do a quick update.
(Facebook uses a new API too…)

No date for the next update, don’t remember: it’s a free plugin 😉

    Hi,

Next version will propose to use new API (if you have a featured image), or actual bookmarklet if don’t (to scan you content looking for an image).

    Coming soon !
