pingomatic.com and deleting wp-trackback.php (1 post)

    Hi. I'm wondering if i delete the file wp-trackback.php to not send/receive any trackback/ping , will it disable the function of pinging pingomatic.com when a new post arrive?

    Please help. Thank you
