Ping failure with future timestamp posts?

    Just found out that if you write a post and give it a future timestamp, WordPress will not send a ping when the post is listed. As a result I’ve installed Ultimateplugins’ Smart Ping, which should take care of the problem in the future.

    My question is if all of the post done with a future timestamp have, in fact, never been pinged.
