    I am trying to insert an image into my sidebar, but my theme (Pinboard) is resizing it and I cant figure out where to correct this.

    I have inserted the image into the Text widget like this:
    <img src="http://straightfromthebelly.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/email-subscription-e1393556004634.png" width="300" height="75"/>
    And have adjusted the width and height with no effect. Still lots of padding around the image.

    I have also tried the Image Widget with the same results.

    Here is what it looks like right now:

    The image is on the top of the right sidebar.

    Thanks for your help!

    Try not to put barriers infront of us like disabling our ability to right click.

    Yes, thx.

    So your sidebar is actually quite thin and so your image can't really take up the width you want: http://snag.gy/R9EVb.jpg

    There may be a better way of doing this, but for now install this Custom CSS Manager plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin

    Then use its "CSS Code" section of the dashboard to hold your CSS modifications:

    #sidebar .twocol {
     width: 100%;
    }

    That did it!

    Now I just have to clean up the image.

    Thank you
