    Hi all,

I'm trying to get my header image to be even with the social media icons like the Pinboard demo site (http://demo.onedesigns.com/pinboard/), but I can seem to do it. The image always has a blank space below it exactly the height of the social media icons, even though I got rid of the icons' top margin and set the site-title margins to 0 in the CSS. What to I need to change to get rid of that blank space? Please help!

I can't envisage this, can you link a webpage with the issue?

Sure, here's the site: http://www.erikadeal.com/. The problem persists no matter how tall the header is. Thanks!

What if you float: left; the #site-title ?

That did it, thanks! It's been a while since I did much with CSS.

Do you see what was happening before?

I think so. It looks like the icons just moved down to the next line since the title content wasn't floated to the left. Is that right? I've made a lot of minor tweaks, and looking at the original stylesheet, it appears that I deleted something I shouldn't have at some point. Thank you again!

Yes, without the float, your block element was by default spanning as far as it could.
    Exampled here

(blue represents the #site-title element's width)

With a float, the #site-title element only spans as far as its contents need to be http://snag.gy/aPoaQ.jpg
