    I updated this plugin for my client today and it immediately broke all her Pin It buttons. It was putting the blog URL in front of the regular Pin It URL.

    So in stead of the normal URL...

    http://pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=SO-ON-AND-SO-ON

    ...it was prepending the blog URL instead, like so...

    http://clientwebsite.com//pinterest.com/pin/create/button/?url=SO-ON-AND-SO-ON

    Reverting to version 1.4.1 resolved the issue.

    I haven't heard of this bug yet, but I'll look into it for the next update. One thing to look for is if the theme implements wp_footer(), which it should. This might be a related issue.

    I've just installed, and its doing the same thing. The button doesn't show, its a broken image. And when I look into the source its added my website URL to the image URL:

    <img border="0" class="pib-count-img" src="http://saynotsweetanne.com//assets.pinterest.com/images/PinExt.png" title="Pin It">

    My theme is newer- and does include the wp_footer() as your suggested link recommends. So that's not it. Any other thoughts?

    I'm not 100% positive, but I have a few changes coming in the next update and I'm hoping this issue will be fixed. Hang tight!
