[resolved] Pin It Button Disable Hover Animation (4 posts)

    Hi,

I've installed the latest version of your plugin, and I'm using Dynamic Mode because I want people to be able to save images from my blog.

However, now my Pin It button has a pretty ugly hover animation where it comes flying in from the top-left corner. Is there any way to disable this?

    Regards,
    Nick

    Hi Nick,

to be honest, the plugin doesn't feature any kind of animation on hover. The button just appears on hover and disappears when the mouse cursor leaves the image. Maybe it's caused by css rules from other plugins or the theme itself.

What's the URL of the website?

I was having this same problem (the button "sliding up" on hover) and I realized I had a css transition property set to all elements on hover. the pinterest button changes to a different image on hover by using an image sprite and changing the background image position... this causes a hover to create a sliding effect.

setting transition: none; for the pinterest button fixed the issue.

Pinterest has since released a Javascript which provides a button to pin images. I've switched to that and it works fine.

@asaturn: your solution seems like the likely answer to my problem.
@mrsztuczkens: sorry for not responding earlier, the previous reply notification must have gotten lost in my inbox.
