Pin "Featured Image" Only (9 posts)

I tried this plug in but it doesn't just show featured image - it shows all images on the page. I'd like to have only the main product image - the featured image - available to pin. Any way to make this happen?

Yes, I'd like to see this implemented as well. And it should pin the original fullsize image, not any of the generated versions.

If you're using a woo theme you can use the shortcode [pinterest] and any of it's parameters in one of your product description areas to pin the featured item.

Since I am using a woo theme, the shortcode [pinterest] worked for me. Thanks!

Is the [pinterest] shortcode part of WooCommerce? Or is this plugin required to make that work?

The shortcut is part of the woo framework...

I'm unaware of any working plugins for just pinterest.

You can find other social media plugins that allow you to add pinterest but, as stated above, it may not let you select one particular product or image. Normally, it will open every photo on the page and allow you to select which you want to pin.

Pinterest does have a how to to add to your website page which will give you the code... https://help.pinterest.com/entries/21101982-adding-the-pin-it-button-to-your-website ...can be tedius if you have many products.

    good luck
