Very nice pallian. Clean and tight. Did you use domain mapping for the MU blog sites? For ShortStocking, what script did you use for the lightbox effect on the youtube video? Congratulations :-)

msgmkr, even with a regular WordPress, you can create a subdirectory called anything you want and upload your WordPress there.

wordpress was installed in the root in this case... but you can also install wordpress in any subdirectory and then move it to the roote: http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress#Moving_WordPress_Within_Your_Site

Hey jongraphs - to install lightwindow to your blog, just insert the js calls in the header.php and make sure that there are no plugins using jQuery conflicting with lightwindow javascript.
It can take a bit of trial and error - but it can be done.

Pallian, i have a question, in the up right corner on your home page you have "register", "log in". How did you get the "register" icon there, i only have "log in " on my site, no "register" http://www.tipishop.com/wordpressthx

I still have some question about the the login thing, Why would you pay for WP-MEMBER since WP-MU have this login already? Whats the difference between WP-MU and the WP? Which one is better?

oh - sorry, i was not clear before. I use wp-member because in timalerts.com, we're charging people. for example, look at this page: http://timalerts.com/wp-login.php?action=register
See the payment option? That is made possible by wp-member.
And as for wordpress mu, we didn't need a payment plan there - so we just used the default login and added a spam filter - as seen here: http://timothysykes.com/wp-signup.php
The only reason ppl sign up on thr wordpress-mu site is to talk in the forums... which again is a hack job. The forums are actually a free php based forum from pun-bb - and it was hacked up to connect to wordpress.
