Pilcrow - How to delete previous headers? (5 posts)

I'm not talking about removing a header simply from the top - I'm talking about removing it altogether from the possibilities shown.

In Pilcrow, I have the option of rotating headers and having different ones appear at random on different pages. I'd love that - but I have headers that I want gone permanently.

    Any thoughts?

Are you talking about images that came with the theme or that you uploaded previously? If so you should be able to delete them using FTP to access the folder they are in.

Yes, ones that I've uploaded previously. How do I utilize FTP? I'm not terribly tech-savvy, which is why I'm using WordPress. : )

Oh, do you mean go to my Media area and delete them from there?

It took me forever to figure that out as well. But yes, for this theme you need to delete it permanently from the media library. Using FTP will leave an empty spot in the header. If you are using random images, it will occasionally show up blank.
