Pilcrow - Different colored backgrounds are displaying on some of my pages (8 posts)

Help. I use the Pilcrow theme, and all of a sudden, the appearance of some of my pages on my site has changed. I have been editing my site a lot lately, but don't do much with html code at all, so I don't feel like I did anything with code that could have messed it up.

My website is http://wwww.allinadayswine.com. The home page with my blog posts looks how it is supposed to look, and all the pages looked like that earlier today. If you go to my About page at http://www.allinadayswine.com/about/, it is messed up.

How do I fix this? Feeling really bummed as I just launched my blog to all my friends and family this morning.

Your website is quite slow to load.

The problem is with your floated elements' parent, the parent has no height.

add 'overflow: auto' to your style.css #wrapper

I added that right at the end of the style.css #wrapper. I don't see any changes. Am I supposed to add it somewhere else other than the end?

    Thanks

Ok. I am sorry, I am really new at this and I don't know how to tell which line is line 283.

    Thanks.

And how on earth did it get like that? It was fine for a couple of weeks. Is it some kind of bug?

Hi there! The theme hasn't been updated in a few months, so it's not likely a bug introduced within the theme itself. It's more likely some errant code within a Text widget, or possibly a recently installed plugin.

Try deactivating your sidebar widgets and plugins one by one to see if that fixes the problem.

If not, can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing along with the operating system and browser version(s) you're using?

    Thanks!
