Pictures Posted are squished

Hi,

I’m running Magic Theme by alivethemes and am in the beginning stages of starting my blog. I’ve uploaded my first images and can’t seem to figure out how to make the images appear properly.

I’d like to either have them auto resize (Both Height and Width proportionally instead of just width) or have the posting Column wider to accommodate the pictures.
