    Hi,
    I loved the layout of the theme.
    But I having a small problem...

    During loading of the posts, some pictures in the posts were not in alignment, with the caption being vertically.I have attached a screenshot on this.

    Screenshot1
    Screenshot2

    However, the alignment became okay (everything became okay) after doing a refresh.

    Maybe it's the browser (Chrome) I'm using, or the facebook comment system, or something else?

    Has the issue been resolved?

    Nope. I need to do a refresh on every page I visit so that the pictures and caption are in alignment.

    Can you try deactivating plugins to explore whether any could be responsible?

    Yup tried deactivating the plugins and doesn't work.
    I think most probably it is because I'm using Chrome.
    IE doesn't seem to have this problem

    The JavaScript that is choosing your image widths is breaking in chrome, leaving your image with a 0px width. That 0px width is causing the formatting issue.

    I don't see any JavaScript choosing the image widths on the theme's demo website, so I don't know what else to suggest other than deactivating plugins or reinstalling the theme. Sorry.

    hmmm... Thanks for the suggestion. I disabled everything and reinstall the theme, still having the same problem.

    Eh can I suggest that it is the caption below the pictures that is making the alignment go awry?

    It seemed to fix the problem after I remove the caption text from it

    Sure. Are you satisfied with that solution?

    Not really. It means I can't input captions for my pictures then.

    May you add captions back so we can try and find a better solution for you?

    Can you add this CSS;

    .wp-caption {
     width: 100% !important;
    }

    ?

    added and now all the images are aligned to the left, even though I had set it to center

    Do you want your images centered, right?

    Add text-align: center; to .wp-caption

    Thanks! But I realise that the caption might be too long for images that are not 100% in the screen.

    How about that instead of width: 100% !important; that Andrew suggested you use min-width: 50%; or whatever the percentage you feel comfortable with with smaller images? If the image is smaller the caption will still be 50% (or your value), but if it's bigger the caption with extent to the image's width.

    Hi,
    Could you please tell me how you added the "share this" in your blog?
    did you edited the code, or there are any options for doing that?

    Sorry, I don't see how that is related to this topic, ajames123.
    Try creating your own thread to discuss that.

    I had the exact same problem in Chrome.

    I added:

    .wp-caption {
    	min-width: 70%;
    	text-align: center;
    }

    and now all is fine. Thanks!

    It had a site effect that all pictures were scaled to 70% in all my blogs. That was not what I wanted. It overruled the settings. The min-width parameter set to 70% means that smaller images stay small, but the caption is suddenly 70%.

    I am still stuck with mis-aligned pictures...

    Regards,

    Rob
