Pictures Disappeared!

Pictures Disappeared!
Where did they go?
I went into cPanel and the pictures are there. I downloaded one to my computer and it shows in my “favorite” picture program. All of the pictures on the site just show the picture place holder box with the little “Page” icon in the upper left corner. When I click on the picture, a blank page comes up with the URL to the picture.
You know… Domain.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Snow001.jpg.
As I said, when I go to cPanel, download the pic, no problem. It seems to be some sort of Database thing. I also have 2 other sites doing this. (I have many sites up, no problem with them… yet.)
When I try either generic WordPress theme, same problem. Does not seem to be a theme problem. (assuming the two installed themes are defect free)

WP Ver 2.9.2
The only plugin I have installed is: “WordPress Database Backup”
