I have been using WordPress for my website http://www.droplinkstudios.com for a couple years now. I post blogs on a semi-regular basis that include pictures, which up until this point, I've had no trouble with. Yesterday I posted a blog and tried to add pictures to it, but when I view the blog on my website, the pics are just a blank box. I checked the HTML and it seems to be correct and I've updated to the newest version of WordPress. I tried re-uploading the pics and inserting them into the blog again, but that didn't work either.

I read something that my host server (GoDaddy) could be blocking people from seeing my pictures. Could this be the problem? Or can you advise on a solution? Pictures are an important part of my blogs so I can't just go without them.

Your site looks great from here. I checked it with IE9 and FF8, but didn't find any evidence of missing/broken images. Can you post a direct link to an article where the image is not showing?

    tim_thumb... ??

What version of WP are you on and if any of your plugins use(d) tim_thumb, run the scan and follow the linked info on site cleanup...also discuss with GoDaddy, they may be able to restore and help fix the site.

@ClaytonJames - I had taken down the pics on my latest blog because I didn't want people seeing blank boxes when they went to my site. I added them back on so here's a direct link to the blog where you'll see the blank boxes where the pics should be.

I'm using the latest WordPress version 3.2.1. Just upgraded earlier this evening in the hopes it would fix the problem.

The images themselves are accessible. ..and they also pop up in shadowbox when I click where the image should be, so I don't think it's an issue of anything being blocked. The link looks the same as the rest of the image/shadowbox links, except that there seems to be references to two images somehow. I'm getting two different images in the pop-up.

This one, //www.droplinkstudios.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Gomusic-app.jpg and this one, //www.droplinkstudios.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Google-Music.jpg,

...and when I hover over this url in the source code, src="http://www.droplinkstudios.com/wp-content/plugins/image-shadow/cache/75ee26e4953b0a95f480bae9bef052b4.jpg", I get a "failed to load given url" error.

I'm not familiar with that plugin, but does any of that make any sense?

I have two images on my blog so I think that's why 2 images are popping up in the shadowbox. The first is the "Google Music" logo and the 2nd is the "Gomusic" app logo.

Not sure why I'm getting a "failed to load given url" error. As far as I know, the image shadow plugin is just to add a dropshadow to your posted images so I don't see how that could be affecting image upload. However, I deactived the plugin and now my images are showing up. I guess I'll have to find another dropshadow plugin.

Thanks for helping me trouble-shoot this guys!
