   Once I upgraded to 3.5 I am not able to view pictures from posts.

   The pictures are OK though they are loading slow.
   Try these:
   1. Optimize photos so that they are easy to load. Heavy images take time to load.
   2. Upload and switch to a fresh copy of Twenty Ten and see if the problem persists.
   3. Do not modify/ customize Twenty Ten theme but use a child theme so that you do not lose customizations when you upgrade themes.
