    How to insert a picture that should appear before the address in the Address bar?

    you’re talking about a “favicon”. first you need to create the image at 16×16 pixels and then use an online .ico creator (or image editor like photoshop with the “create ico” plugin installed) and then you can either upload the favicon.ico file you’ve created to the root directory of your site, dig about in the head code of your theme and find the <link rel="shortcut... etc /> code and add in a full URL with all the http:// stuff or use this plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/shockingly-simple-favicon/
