I saw this post : http://wordpress.org/support/topic/bug-picklists-no-longer-syncing-with-web-to-lead
But my WordPress version is 3.7.3 and my WordPress-to-lead version is 2.3.6
Help !!
Please post a screenshot of your field configuration (or the data you’re using in the options field).
Do you need another screenshot ?
Yes, I need to see how you’ve setup the field in the plugin, not at salesforce.
Hmmm… you covered up the part I need to see. Why?
Just as I suspected. I swear I’ve answered this before but couldn’t find it.
Picklists in SalesForce (Web to Lead at least) are a strange beast — you’d think you could pass the field name and SF would map it on their end… but they don’t make it that easy.
Instead you need to pass the internal SF ID of the picklist… which looks more like: 00Nd0000007p1Ej (this is just en example, you can’t use this id).
Where do you find this cryptic value? You can find it in two places (that I know of):
1. Edit the field and it’ll be in the URL:
e.g. https://na14.salesforce.com/00Nd0000007p1Ej/
2. Generate a Web to Lead form and it’ll be in the HTML
e.g. TestPicklist: <select id="00Nd0000007p1Ej" name="00Nd0000007p1Ej" title="TestPicklist">
Well, I have the ID, but where I should input it ?
It replaces the field name. In your case, license_type__c should be replaced with the internal name.
