   Is there a simple plugin that will display the latest (or latest few) Picasa photos?

   Similar to the FlickrRSS plugin?

   I haven't seen anything like this for Picasa and I've searched everywhere.

   The problem is that Picasa uses ATOM feeds, which WordPress is not currently very good at. I've written a few plugins to handle it, but they're unsatisfying because of their size and speed.

   Hopefully, in upcoming versions of WordPress, feed reading support will be better and I can create a plugin that doesn't actually require excessive core file hacking.

   check "use HTML".
   But the output formatting can't be change.
   I 'm searching for better feed reader.

   Your linked helped nicely... And I think it might help someone make a plugin I am looking for, however I don't have the programming skills or the patience/time to do it.

   I've just made available a plugin for Picasa that lets you display individual photos, album thumbnails, tables of thumbnails, and random photos. It's here:

   It can't show the latest photos from an album. But I don't think that would be too hard for me to add...

   Shashin can show the latest photos from an album now. My next step will be to make it work as a widget.
