   Sometime phpthumb would take most of my CPU usage and my site is become very slow
   anyway ideas on hot speeding up a site using phpthumb?

   have you try to disabled the some plugin to know what maybe affect it? Maybe you can try WP-supercache
   I also generate thumbnail, but i not make the theme myself.
   My blog sometimes load slow, but usually fast.
   Maybe you can contact theme developer to get the solutions.
