    Hi,my hosting is Godaddy,and i have phpbb3 on main domain ”example.com”
and suceccfully installed WordPress manually on my sobdomain ”blog.example.com”

I didn’t created new database for the wordpress and it worked well, but today i deleted the folder (which is in the root and name of the folder is blog)that i intalled the wordpress in,and deleted the subdomain in the Godaddys control panel.

I made a new subdomain called ”inceleme.example.com” and when i installed manually wordpress again, can’t remember the same words but it gave me an error like this,”this database already has a wordpress”
Any help would be great, how can i completely remove the first install of the wordpress.

    Thanks.

You need to delete the old database 🙂

You said “I didn’t created new database for the wordpress” so we’re left to guess that you used your phpbb3 DB.

If so, open that sucker up and nuke the wp_<whatever> tables.

Yes, you can do this through PHPmyAdmin.

I would make a BACKUP of your database before deleting anything, especially if you’re new 🙂

Read http://help.godaddy.com/article/3308 for how to backup a DB on GoDaddy.

    Salute.

You don’t NEED a separate DB, but in my experience, unless you’re going to have crossover between the two apps (like use the same user base), you’re better off with separate DBs per app.

I’m planning to connect the two apps with the same user name in the future, thanks for the advice again.
